Marcus Linial Presents Tony winner Lena Hall with The Deafening at The Highline Ballroom for One Night Only on January 26, 2015. Doors open at 7:30pm for the 8pm concert that kicks off with opening band Station. The Deafening takes the stage at 9pm.

Fresh off her Grammy nomination, Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) will bring her band The Deafening to Highline Ballroom for one night only with special guest Station for a night of window-shattering, live rock and roll.

The Deafening is New York to it's core. A ferocious five piece born of the city's eternal energy. A raw tribute to it's defiant crush. With blues beating back and rough punk ethos, The Deafening are the natural heirs to the Bowery's big bad seventies sound. The band expertly fuses the gritty glam of the early seventies with the big bragging attitude of eighties' sleaze rock and tops it off with the merrily deviant theatrical horror of groups like The Misfits and Alice Cooper. With Burt Rock on Lead guitar, Dylan Doyle on Rhythm guitar, Tommy Mokas on Bass, Mick Harrison whipping back the skins, and Lena Hall wailing her little black heart out, this five piece seeks to return to rock it's dirty sexy heart.

STATION is one of the hottest new bands to come out of New York City. A high voltage stage show with electrifying melodies make STATION an unforgettable experience. They have shared the stage with rock greats such as Pat Benatar, Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe), Bret Michaels (Poison), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Dio Disciples, Jake E Lee and .38 Special to name a few. Their first EP, "WIRED", has gained international attention and rave reviews from notable publications such as Classic Rock AOR (also included on covermount CD), Sleaze Roxx and Rock Report.

The Highline Ballroom is located at 431 West 16th St NYC, NY. Tickets: $15 - $30. Call 212-414-5994 for more information. Tickets available day of show and for advanced purchase at highlineballroom.com/show/2015/01/26/the-deafening/.
