What do Jell-O shots, slave labor, butterfly tattoos, Krishna and Afghanistan have in common? Five New York City community college students from diverse ethnic backgrounds tell their harrowing yet inspirational stories in an intimate setting.
Hearts Afire will have its world premiere in the 19th annual New York International Fringe Festival this August. Written by Darcy Heller Sternberg and directed by Madeline Brennan, Hearts Afire is performing a limited engagement at Venue #3 - Teatro LATEA at the Clemente 107 Suffolk Street (b/t Rivington and Delancey) in Manhattan on the following times:
