HAVE I GOT A GIRL FOR YOU Joins 2012 New York International Fringe Festival’s Encore Series

Have I Got A Girl For You, winner of Theatermania's 2012 FringeNYC Audience Favorite Award, has been selected for the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival's Encore Series. Out of the festival's 187 productions, Have I Got A Girl For You received more votes than any other production in the Audience Favorite category and is one of only nineteen shows selected for the Encores Series. Performances begin September 13 at The Player's Theatre Mainstage.

How does a newly-sober, gay musical theater actor get his life back on track? By running the largest female escort agency on the East Coast! Have I Got a Girl For You tells the hilarious true story of Josh, the newest member of the oldest profession. When Josh finds himself out of rehab, in debt, and in a land far-removed from the chorus calls of New York City, he finds an unlikely career as a Sondheim-quoting pimp. This new comedy by Josh Mesnik sheds light on the inner-workings of a high-end escort agency as it's never been seen before.

The cast of Have I Got A Girl For You features three-time Emmy Award winner Eileen Faxas (Mamma Mia!, HereAfter), two-time Carbonell Award winner Kim Morgan Dean (The Lieutenant of Innishmore), Jon Seymour (24, All My Children) and Josh Mesnik (Jewtopia), upon whose life Have I Got A Girl For You is based.

Directed by Sara Sahin (Lila Cante, The Hand That Feeds You), Have I Got A Girl For You features scenic design by David Arsenault (Broke-Ology, Broadway Bares 2012), costume design by Nicole Wee (Closer Than Ever at The York, Ionescopade The Body Politic), lighting design by Pete Bragg (Broadway's Cyrano Associate Lighting Designer) and sound design by Josh Hobbs (The Temperamentals).

Have I Got A Girl For You will be presented at The Player's Theatre's Off-Broadway Mainstage, located at 115 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012. The performance schedule is as follows: Thursday, September 13 at 10pm; Friday, September 14 at 10pm; Saturday, September 15 at 7:30pm; Friday, September 21 at 7:30pm; and Saturday, September 22, at 7:30pm.
