The Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is set to mark its 5th anniversary later this month at the Lyric Theatre in Times Square.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened to critical acclaim on Broadway on Sunday, April 22, 2018, and went on to win six Tony Awards including Best Play.
The production has the unique distinction of being named by the Guinness World Records as the highest-grossing non-musical play in Broadway history with over $270 million total sales and over 2 million tickets sold. The play is also the highest grossing production ever at the Lyric Theatre with a weekly record gross of $2,671,191 for the week ending January 1, 2023.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which has employed over 1,500 artists and theatre professionals throughout its run, is the longest running Broadway play of this century and has become one of the "must-see" destinations for tourists and NYC residents alike.
The magical experience of seeing the show begins for the audience the moment they enter the theatre's lobby. Fans can interact with special AR installations from the tech wizards of Meta, including bringing a portrait, a Patronus, and even the Enchanted Ceiling to life by scanning special QR codes throughout the lobby. They can also feast like Hogwarts students with special magical treats from Chocolate Frogs to Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and wash it all down with a Butterbeer. It's an experience like no other on Broadway!
