Frank Sinatra School of the Arts (FSSA) is proud to announce that leading Broadway star, Mandy Gonzalez, will be speaking at the school on February 9, 2018 at 3pm to kick-off the school's new "My Way Speaker Series".
The FSSA "My Way Speaker Series" will be a monthly guest speaker series featuring individuals who have excelled in arts, sports or academia. During the series, each guest will be interviewed by the department head teacher from the corresponding studio to offer an invaluable opportunity for students to hear firsthand the success story of a person who has been able to realize their potential and create their dream job. Mandy Gonzalez will be the first speaker in the series on February 9, 2018.
Gonzalez is best known for her roles as Angelica Schuyler in the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton", Nina Rosario in the Tony Award winning, Broadway musical "In the Heights", and Elphaba in the Broadway production of "Wicked".
FSSA Principal Gideon Frankel states, "Mandy Gonzalez is one of the biggest names on Broadway and someone that our students look up to immensely. We are honored to have her as the first guest of our "My Way Speaker Series" and know that her expertise will offer an added value that students will not be able to find elsewhere."
