Christopher Jackson, HAIRSPRAY LIVE Set for MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE

Macy's has announced that Christopher Jackson, who currently stars as George Washington in the Tony-winning Broadway musical HAMILTON, will be among the performers on this year's MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE. It has also been revealed that the cast of Broadway's CATS and HOLIDAY INN will perform during the parade's 9:00 am hour, alongside a preview performance of NBC's highly anticipated broadcast of HAIRSPRAY LIVE!

Other entertainers joining the performance lineup include Tony Bennett, Sarah McLachlan, De La Soul the cast and Muppets of "Sesame Street", Kelsea Ballerini, Regina Spektor, Chloe x Halle, Brett Eldredge, Fitz & the Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Daya, Jacob Whitesides and Aloe Blacc.

Olympic gold medalists Laurie Hernandez, Claressa Shields, former NHL players Adam Graves and Eric Lindros, U.S. Paralympic gold medalists Mikey Brannigan and Gianfranco Iannotta and Michelle Carter will also participate in the 90th annual holiday event airing on Thursday, Nov. 24th at 9 a.m. EST on NBC.

Christopher Jackson recently received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for his role as George Washington in HAMILTON. His other Broadway credits include Holler If Ya Hear Me, Bronx Bombers, After Midnight, In the Heights, Memphis, The Lion King.

Off-Broadway credits include Hamilton, Bronx Bombers, The Jammer, Lonely I'm Not and In the Heights.

Film/TV credits include CBS's BULL, Tracers, Afterlife, "Freestyle Love Supreme," "White Collar," "Oz," "Person of Interest," "Gossip Girl." Emmy-winning composer for "Sesame Street" and "The Electric Company." Solo album In the Name of Love on iTunes.
