It's just a matter of days before HAMILTON performances begin at Chicago's Private Bank Theatre (18 W. Monroe), and for those who were unable to score tickets, there is still hope! Producer Jeffrey Seller revealed in a recent interview with Chicago Tribune that some seats might be opening up soon, so keep your eyes peeled in the next few days.

The show is in the process of enforcing maximum ticket sale rules. He told the Tribune: "It is not thousands of tickets but it is a significant number. Anyone who bought more than the number allowed now has had their money refunded. And that was mostly 'bots.'"

A second block of tickets will reportedly go on sale before the show opens on October 19.

HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now.
