Nightlife performer and co-founder of Broadway Speaks Out! , Marti Gould Cummings will once again bring his monthly event Take the Mic to Dixon Place, Monday, September 27th at 8:30pm.

Take the Mic, Cumming's monthly extravaganza, showcases and brings together the best of LGBTQ and the LGBTQ supporters and talent in New York City. This month, Dixon Place and Marti will host a Broadway?s Hair REUNION SPECIAL. Members of the Hair tribe from both the Broadway and the West End cast will take the stage for the ?rst time since the transfer, singing broadway standards and mainstream tunes, to help support and raise awareness for LGBTQ issues. Cummings will reunite Allison Case, Lauren Elder, Brianna C. Goodman, Allison Guinn, and Rachel Bay Jones and more from the Hair casts.

Also joining the former tribe members will be director/composer Bobby Cronin, folk singer Josh Zuckerman, James Ryan Reichel, Jimmy Burgio Dancers, Bradley Scott Hamilton, Nikki Jenkins, Tiffany Lee, Charlie Levy, and Tym Moss.

With great cocktails and specials in their incredible lounge, Dixon Place is located at 161 Chrystie Street. The event is free to the public.
