HAIR Sells Over $500k in Tickets; New Block of Tickets on Sale; Lottery Announced

The producers of HAIR announced today that the new Broadway production was on track to sell upwards of $500,000 in tickets today, following yesterday's triumphant opening night performance at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. The producers also distributed checks today representing a return of 10% to the show's investors.

The producers also announced that a new block of tickets has gone on sale for performances through Thanksgiving weekend (November 29th).

The full cast of HAIR includes Sasha Allen, Ato Blankson-Wood, Steel Burkhardt, Jackie Burns, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Allison Case, Gavin Creel, Lauren Elder, Allison Guinn, Chasten Harmon, Anthony Hollock, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Kaitlin Kiyan, Andrew Kober, Josh Lamon, Megan Lawrence, Caissie Levy, Nicole Lewis, Ryan Link, John Moauro, Darius Nichols, Brandon Pearson, Paris Remillard, Megan Reinking, Bryce Ryness, Michael James Scott, Saycon Sengbloh, Maya Sharpe, Kacie Sheik, Theo Stockman, Will Swenson and Tommar Wilson.

The producers of HAIR have also established a pre-performance ticket lottery for box-seat tickets, aptly renamed "BE-IN BOXES." Those wishing to purchase these tickets are asked to show up at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre 2 1/2 hours before each performance for a drawing that will take place 2 hours before curtain. For every performance (beginning Friday), a limited number of lucky audience members will receive $25 "be-in box" tickets, promising to make their experience of the show both affordable and unique. Limit one entry per person, and two tickets per entry. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the box office in cash only.
