Over consecutive days this week, the 26-member Broadway cast of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will be announced by Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of The Public Theater.
The next HAIR cast members to be confirmed are
Steel Burkhardt (Electric Blues Quartet, Tribe),
Allison Case (Crissy),
Andrew Kober (Margaret Mead, Dad, Tribe),
Darius Nichols (Hud) and
Kacie Sheik (Jeanie, Tribe), all of whom are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer.
In a statement, director
Diane Paulus said, "What I love about HAIR is that the show encourages the expression of every performer's individuality. There is a sense of freedom and openness in how the cast performs. As a result, they really bear their souls in this show -- so you get this chance to see inside each performer. You can't help but fall in love with every single one of them."

HAIR will begin preview performances on Friday, March 6, with Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 31, at the
Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, New York City).
Jeffrey Richards and
Jerry Frankel, the producing team that helped bring the Tony Award-winning musical
Spring Awakening to Broadway, have joined forces with The Public Theater (Artistic Director
Oskar Eustis; Executive Director
Andrew D. Hamingson) - as co-lead producers - to present the upcoming Broadway production.
The production will reunite most of the creative team of last summer's staging at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park: director

Scott Pask, costume designer
Michael McDonald, sound designer
Acme Sound Partners and choreographer
Karole Armitage.
Kevin Adams has been signed to design the lighting for the Broadway production.
