Morgan Taylor will bring his indie rock Gustafer Yellowgold shows to a larger level, filling the stage with the The Chelsea Symphony when Gustafer Yellowgold's Golden Heart Symphony receives its NYC premiere in February. Gustafer Yellowgold's Golden Heart Symphony will be presented at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12 in the Peter J. Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th St., NYC. These shows are part of the Symphony Space Just Kidding Series.

Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold is a small, yellow, cone-headed fellow, who came to Earth from the Sun and has a knack for finding himself neck-deep in absurd situations as he explores his new life in the Minnesota woods. Morgan Taylor developed the Gustafer Yellowgold experience as equal parts pop rock concert and hand drawn cartoon movie, in which the music is coordinated with full-color, large screen, gorgeously animated images of Gustafer and his friends.

About the show: "At Symphony Space, Morgan Taylor and The Yellowgold Band will be joined by The Chelsea Symphony for a breathtakingly epic symphonic journey into Gustafer's world. With the Gustafer Yellowgold's Golden Heart Symphony show, Morgan Taylor layers the traditional Gustafer Yellowgold experience over the sumptuous and vivid orchestrations of Robert Nelson (who, with librettist Buck Ross, gave E.M. Foster's beloved A Room With a View new life as an operatic masterpiece). Taylor enthuses, "Performing these incredible arrangements with The Chelsea Symphony takes the Gustafer Yellowgold multimedia experience to an entirely new, other-worldly dimension for The Yellowgold Band and the audience. We're all pinching ourselves!"

NOT JUST FOR KIDS! Possessing an unusual crossover appeal, Gustafer Yellowgold's Show has performed as the support act for WILCO and The Polyphonic Spree, as well as headlining kids' venues all across the U.S., in London, and as far away as Seoul, Korea. Gustafer has also been seen off-Broadway in his own productions of Gustafer Yellowgold's Mellow Sensation and Gustafer Yellowgold's Infinity Sock.

Apple-Eye Productions has released four Gustafer Yellowgold DVD/CD sets: Gustafer Yellowgold's Wide Wild World (spring 2007); Gustafer Yellowgold's 'Have You Never Been Yellow?' (fall 2007); Gustafer Yellowgold's Mellow Fever (2009), and Gustafer Yellowgold's Infinity Sock (2011). A fifth Gustafer Yellowgold DVD/CD set, Gustafer Yellowgold's Year In The Day, will be released in April 2012. More information is available at http://gustaferyellowgold.com
