Performance #4 of David Gurland's DGUR in concert series, taking place this coming Sunday, April 15, at the Laurie Beechman/West Bank Café, has been canceled due to illness. The evening, a salute to the "Great Women Singers and Songwriters of 1990's- 2000's," was to have featured guest stars Scott Coulter, Steven Ray Watkins, Julie Reyburn, and Broadway's Christina Norrup.

The next 2 shows in the DGUR series will be an acoustic version of David's hit All-Madonna Tribute show 'Neurotica,' with new songs, Sunday May 20th at 7 PM, and Gurland Does Garland, a tribute to the great Judy Garland, Sunday June 17th at 7 PM.

Gurland has performed in and for sold-out houses at such first class New York venues as BB Kings, Downtime, The Bitter End, The Cutting Room, The Living Room, CB's Gallery, FEZ, The Ace of Clubs, The Metropolitan Room, The Duplex, The Triad, as well as Odette's in New Hope, The Gardenia in LA, Martini Beach in Cape May, Twiggs in San Diego and The Manor in NJ. Gurland has also been the roster of distinguished artists to be included in Carnegie Hall's Neighborhood Concert series, for two seasons in a row. For his nightclub and cabaret performances, he has won the Manhattan Association of Cabaret's Hanson Award, as well as having been nominated an additional five times. He has also won three Back Stage Bistro Awards, more than any other Male Vocalist.
