Greg Proops to Play Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square, 9/11-14

Greg Proops will bring his stand up to Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square on September 11-14, it was announced today.

Proops has a hit Podcast called The Smartest Man in the World, which was chosen by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the Ten Best Comedy Podcasts. In just one year he has recorded it live around the World including Australia, New Zealand, Montreal, Edinburgh, San Francisco, Austin, London, Paris, aboard a ship in the Caribbean and somehow, Cleveland.

Proops is best known for his unpredictable appearances on Whose Line is it Anyway? the hit, improvised comedy show both in the U.S. and U.K. Currently, Greg can be seen brazenly smoking dope on The Green Room with Paul Provenza on Showtime, hosting a weekly webcast called Odd News on Yahoo, and on the ABC comedy series Trust Us With Your Life. He is a frequent guest on E!'s Chelsea Lately, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and on Fox News Red Eye.

Greg can be recognized from his four seasons on the hit Nickelodeon comedy series True Jackson VP or the TV series Easy to Assemble.
