On Sunday, June 25th, new musical theatre composers and lyricists be recognized in "Green: A Celebration of Tomorrow's Brightest Talent." The concert will take place at 7PM at the Upper West Side's Makor Theatre.

Featuring performances of songs by the next generation of Broadway talent, the evening will be musically directed by Ring of Fire's Randy Redd. Having created both the NEO Concert for the York Theatre as well as "In the Works..." in 2003, as showcases for up-and-coming musical theatre talent, Jamie McGonnigal (Children of Eden, Pippin, The Secret Garden World AIDS Day concerts) will present "Green" as the next step in presenting some of New York's most exciting new artists.

Some of the artists already scheduled to be a part of "Green" include writers Jenny Giering, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Jonathan Reid-Gealt, David Rossmer and Dan Lipton, Michael Shaieb and Stephen Tomac, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, Jonah Speidel and several others. The performing talent will include several of Scott Nevins' XL Star contestants such as Alysha Umphress (XL Star Winner), Ritter Hans, Marisela, Emily Drennan and other up-and-coming talent such as Eric Imhoff, Zach Hanna, Jason Michael Snow, Liz Carbonell, Kate Pazakis, Henry Gainza, Brandon Cutrell and more.
