Great New Writers Set for Pen Parentis Book Salon Tonight

Tonight, March 8th, the Pen Parentis Literary Salon will feature an intimate evening with three writers to watch: Lauren Acampora who wrote a story collection chosen as one of the best books of the year by Amazon, Rumaan Alam, a New York magazine journalist whose highly anticipated debut novel will be out in Spring 2016, and Helen Phillips, whose first novel was a New York Times Notable book of 2015. All of the presenting novelists are also parents.

Join an animated discussion after the readings centering on creativity and work/life balance, moderated by Pen Parentis founder and veteran salonnière M. M. De Voe and Wai Look Award-winning curator Christina Chiu.

The event takes place tonight, March 8th at the elegant Andaz Wall Street at 75 Wall Street, with wine and light refreshments compliments of the hotel. The night kicks off at 7:00 pm, and admission is free. RSVP is recommended-the Pen Parentis Literary Salon is open to all adults over the age of 21. You do not have to be a parent or a writer to enjoy these Salons; all book lovers are welcome. Greenlight Bookshop will be vending books for signings.
