A special one-day-only NYC Food Truck Fest co-hosted by The New York Food Truck Association and the National Food Truck Association will take place on Saturday, April 13th at Grand Bazaar NYC (100 W. 77th Street) from 10am - 5:30pm.
Grand Bazaar NYC is the city's largest curated weekly shopping market, indoors and outdoors, with over 160 curated vendors including talented local artists, designers, artisanal food entrepreneurs and independent antique and vintage dealers selling one-of-a-kind, rare, and limited-edition fashion, lamps, handmade jewelry, home goods, art, furniture and more. For the first time ever, this massive food truck fest till take place on a Saturday and will feature 15 gourmet food trucks in addition to 30 of the Bazaar's most unique weekly vendors. 100% of the ticket sales and a portion of the food trucks and food vendor sales will go to the four local public schools, benefiting over 4,000 children, which Grand Bazaar NYC supports.
Food trucks participating at this year's inaugural NYC Food Truck Fest will include Shark Tank's famous Cousin's Maine Lobster truck, Vendy winner El Toro Rojo Truck, all natural guac from The Guac Spot, a variety of Meditteranean food from Chef Samir Truck, sweet and savory crepes from The Crepes Truck, the Hapa Truck where Asian Pasific cuisine meet American Street Food, a delicious variety of mac n' cheese from the Mac n' Cheese Truck, Makina Café, the women owned and run & Vendy Award 2018 finalist for "Best Rookie Vendor" in addition to Deli N' Dogz, the first ever kosher style hot pastrami truck in NYC. Hard Time Sundaes, rated #1 burger truck in NYC, will be on hand along with Neapolitan Express, serving organic, eco-friendly and non-GMO authentic Neapolitan pizza. Meatoss will serve up signatures like chicken thighs with caramelized onions, spicy mayo and pickles. The Taiwanese comfort food truck Yumplings with slow-braised beef rice bowls and hand-folded dumplings is mouthwatering. Satisfy your sweet and savory cravings with stuffed French toast from STUF'D. At the festival, they will offer top savory sellers including Buffalo chicken, Momma's meatballs, as well as s'mores bites and other tasty desserts, and Yankee Doodle Dandy's will be back by popular demand.
The first 4,000 attendees get a complimentary drink, sponsored by Honest Tea, Zico Coconut Water and Hubert's Lemonade. VIP Admission tickets include early entry from 10am - 11am, allowing ticket holders to be the first to the food trucks. It also includes a complimentary beverage from one of the afternoon's sponsors. Grand Bazaar NYC was created in order to give back to the local Upper West Side community. Every time a vendor commits to selling their goods at the market, four schools in the surrounding area including PS 87, The Computer School, PS 334 and M.S. M247 Dual Language Middle School benefit. 100% of the net profits from booth rentals, benefit over 4,000 public school children by providing them with much needed school supplies, books, art enrichment and sports programs. The food trucks and food vendors will also be donating a portion of their sales from this event to this worthy cause.
