Grammy Winner Mister G to Play Family Concert at Jewish Museum, 1/31

Mister G, winner of the 2015 Latin Grammy Award for Best Children's Album, will perform a concert for families at the Jewish Museum on Sunday, January 31 at 11:30am. Spanning genres from bluegrass and bossa nova to funk and folk, Mister G has been called a "kid-friendly bilingual rock star" by The Washington Post, and People Magazine declared his dynamic music "irresistible." He will perform hits from albums such as his Grammy-winning Los Animales and Mitzvah Bus, a new collection of 14 original Jewish songs for children in English, Hebrew, Spanish and Yiddish.

Tickets are $18 per adult; $13 per child; $15 adult Jewish Museum family level member; and $11 child Jewish Museum family level member; and can be bought at TheJewishMuseum.org/families. Mister G is a leading figure in the children's music world. A former indie rocker who was awarded the first songwriting scholarship in the history of Berklee College of Music, Mister G (aka Ben Gundersheimer) tours internationally, headlining major venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe, the National Zoo, Austin City Limits, Strathmore Music Center, the Getty Museum, Chicago Botanic Garden and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His albums include Pizza for Breakfast, Bugs, Chocolalala (Parents' Choice Gold Award Winner), ABC Fiesta (Latin Grammy nomination and Parents' Choice Silver Award Winner), and The Bossy E.
