After his critically acclaimed and sold-out concert honoring composer Maury Yeston, singer/songwriter Tim Realbuto (Ghostlight; Wunderkind; Mean the musical) returns to the concert stage to honor more of his favorite composers with 'Tim Realbuto: Live In Living Color', an evening celebrating the songwriting duo of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who are responsible for hits such as Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can, and the fictional Bombshell musical from television's "Smash", which will enjoy a sold-out performance on June 8th at The Minskoff Theatre on Broadway.
The June 9th concert event will take place at 7:00 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street, NYC) and promises to feature Realbuto's interpretation of many of Shaiman and Wittman's biggest hits. The production note states: "Can't get a ticket to Bombshell? Don't feel bad. Neither could we. Join Tim Realbuto and some of Broadway's best as they celebrate two of our greatest living composers. Hear songs from Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fame Becomes Me, and yes... Bombshell!"
