Grace in Winter Silver Ball will be held to honor the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Evidence, A Dance Company. The Gala Will Honor Ronald K. Brown, Reginald Van Lee & Booz Allen Hamilton. The event will take place at the Grand Ballroom, in the The Plaza Hotel, New York, Monday February 8, 2010.

Grace in Winter Silver Ball, the 6th annual gala featuring and benefitting the critically acclaimed Evidence, A Dance Company, is slated for Monday, February 8, 2010, Grand Ballroom, The Plaza Hotel, New York City. The gala evening will honor Ronald K. Brown, Founder and Artistic Director, Evidence, A Dance Company and Reginald Van Lee, Chairman of the Board and longtime corporate supporter Booz Allen Hamilton. Actress and dancer Victoria Rowell hosts the evening which will feature a performance of the Company's famed signature piece "Grace" and special performances by singer Jennifer Holliday and jazz musician Peven Everett.

Cocktails and Online Auction at 6PM. Performance, Dinner, Awards and Live Auction to follow. Dress is Black Tie...With A Touch of Silver. The Ball's sponsors, all of whom have supported Evidence for many years, are Booz Allen Hamilton, HSBC Premier, Continental Airlines, ING and Moet & Chandon Champagne.

Upcoming highlights of the anniversary season include a magnificent commemorative book detailing the Company's 25 year history, a calendar featuring stunning dance photographs and an exclusive scarf from Hermes, a New York City season, a U.S. tour, appearances at the Vancouver Olympic festivities and a State Department-sponsored tour to Africa.

Ron Brown fashioned his artistic vision into a reality by founding Evidence 25 years ago. He has created a unique, enduring and vital movement language that viscerally communicates the evolution of culture throughout the African Diaspora incorporating dance, music and storytelling. His dancers are specifically trained in his movement vocabulary, and his choreography has been sought after by internationally known companies, such as Alvin Ailey and Jennifer Muller/The Works.
