Smoking Mirror Productions is proud to present William Shakespeare's Timon of Athens, running from September 27 through October 6 at The Kirk Theatre on Theatre Row.  This production will be directed by the founder of Smoking Mirror Productions, John Gordon.

"Timon of Athens is an ancient fable of ostentatious wealth, hidden debt, and betrayal by friends. From Timon's bitter exile in the wilderness, he engineers the overthrow of his former friends, the rulers of Athens. Timon of Athens is a profound exploration of human psychology in extremis and a reflection of our time of enormous debt and profligate ways," describe press notes.
