According to Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune critic, the Goodman Theatre's revival of The Iceman Cometh may be coming to Broadway next year.

In a feature about actress Kate Arrington, he writes "Arrington has also shown plenty of colors between, whether as the spectacularly restless Susie in Falls' "The Iceman Cometh" (which appears likely to be restaged in New York next year), a twitchy, recovering addict in Lisa D'Amour's "Detroit" (perhaps my favorite Arrington performance, although "Belleville" comes close)". Goodman Theatre's THE ICEMAN COMETH ran April 21 - June 17, 2012. The production starred Nathan Lane as Theodore "Hickey" Hickman, and Brian Dennehy as Larry Slade and Kate Arrington as Cora. Other cast of The Iceman Cometh by Eugene O'Neill, directed by Robert Falls included: Stephen Ouimette (Harry Hope), Larry Neumann, Jr. (Ed Mosher), Sal Inzerillo (Rocky Pioggi), Marc Grapey (Chuck Morello), John Judd (Piet Wetjoen), John Reeger (Cecil Lewis), James Harms (James Cameron), John Douglas Thompson (Joe Mott), Brian Dennehy (Larry Slade), Lee Wilkof (Hugo Kalmar), and more.

The design team for The Iceman Cometh included Kevin Depinet (Set), Natasha Katz (Lighting) and Merrily Murray-Walsh (Costumes). Joseph Drummond is the Production Stage Manager.

In The Iceman Cometh, Harry Hope's saloon is home to a ragtag band of drunks and dreamers who celebrate the arrival of Hickey, the charismatic traveling salesman whose raucous presence always ensures a grand good time. But when a newly sober Hickey blows in with a renewed outlook on life, his zealous attempts to fix the lives of his old friends leads to a series of events that are at once devastatingly comic and heartbreaking-and a revelation that threatens to shatter the tenuous
illusions that fuel their lives.
