Gonzalez Joins Rudetsky for 'Seth's Big Fat Broadway' Series at The Triad; Show Debuts 7/5

Seth Rudetsky, the Broadway host from Sirius/XM radio, will be debuting a new monthly series called SETH'S BIG FAT BROADWAY SHOW at The Triad on Monday July 5th at 7:00pm.

SETH'S BIG FAT BROADWAY SHOW will have a different theme each month and for the debut show on July 5th, the theme will be Seth's signature: Broadway belters. Seth will be doing his web-famous deconstructions of all the Broadway belters he's obsessed with, as well as giving tons of inside scoop. The show will culminate with a live performance by the former star of IN THE HEIGHTS and current star of WICKED, Mandy Gonzales. Come hear Seth compare/contrast classic belters like Merman, Diva belters like Betty Buckley/Patti LuPone, current belters like Julia Murney, rare soprano/belters like Judy Kuhn and horrifying belters like Lauren Bacall. As usual, there will be hilarious audio clips supplemented by shocking videos. You won't believe your eyes and ears!

Seth began his career on Broadway as pianist and conductor, working on shows like LES MIZ, PHANTOM and RAGTIME. He then became a television writer and was nominated for three Emmy awards along with his fellow writers for THE Rosie O'Donnell SHOW. He wrote the opening number for two Tony Awards (including the "Diva" number starting Betty Buckley, Patti LuPone and Jennifer Holliday) and authored THE Q GUIDE TO BROADWAY and BROADWAY NIGHTS, both in their fourth printing. As an actor, he's appeared on ALL MY CHILDREN, LAW AND ORDER; C.I. and on Broadway in THE RITZ. As himself, he's appeared on MADE, LEGALLY BLONDE: THE SEARCH FOR THE NEXT ELLE WOODS and will be on two upcoming episodes of the Emmy-award winning Kathy Griffin: MY LIFE ON THE D LIST.
