The curtain will rise one last time in New York City on March 13th, 2011 in celebration of seven glorious years of the musical celebration benefit "ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS." The event which to date has raised over $1.6 million will feature stars from ABC's "All My Children," "One Life to Live," "General Hospital" and "The View" who'll join together in song and dance on Broadway for this final New York City based gala concert in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

"ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares has been a wonderful success and a favorite of daytime fans since its first incarnation at Town Hall in 2005. Since then six editions of this eagerly anticipated variety show featuring the most beloved and popular stars of ABC Daytime has raised over $1.6 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, allowing us with the support of the stars and fans to reach out to hundreds of thousands facing the challenges of AIDS and other serious illness. But even in such an exciting world, all good things come to an end. And while BC/EFA is sorry to call this the last due to our own event scheduling conflicts, we are proud to take a final, very special bow with our friends from ABC Daytime. Whether you have been in the audience before or have yet to join us, this year's "Grand Finale Celebration" will offer special performances and auction surprises sure to surpass anything done before. If you're a fan of ABC Daytime you will not want to miss what promises to be an extraordinary evening," says BC/EFA executive director, Tom Viola.

"All My Children" star Cameron Mathison will serve as host for the evening's festivities along with "The View's" Oscar, Tony and Emmy Award-winner, Whoopi Goldberg and Emmy Award-winners, "The View's" Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd with "General Hospital's" Anthony Geary. A full list of the performing cast will be announced at a later date. Tickets are now on sale at www.broadwaycares.org or call 212.840.0770. Talent participation is subject to change.

In the tradition of the New York City benefit, cast members from ABC's "All My Children" and "General Hospital" committed to giving back and supporting the fans of ABC daytime, performing in three performances of them musical, "The World Goes Round," in Los Angeles this past October, benefitting The LA Gay & Lesbian Center.
