Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust Organizes Theater Party of Golda's Balcony December 14
With Israeli history as the unifying theme, theater fans and Museum patrons are invited to a theater party to benefit the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.
The evening will begin at the Museum in Battery Park City with a tour of Kippur: Three Weeks in October, the new acclaimed photographic exhibition that illustrates what it was like to be on the front lines during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Following the tour, the group will take a Campus Coach bus to the Helen Hayes Theater to see
Tovah Feldshuh in her Tony-nominated performance of Golda Meir in Golda's Balcony. The one-woman show is a riveting portrait of Israel's fourth prime minister and the challenges she faced during the three-week war. Dinner will be served en route and will be supplied by My Most Favorite Dessert Company. Transportation to the Museum from a mid-town location is provided in the cost of the ticket.
The evening is chaired by
Tovah Feldshuh, Patti Kenner, and Doris Schechter.
Tickets to the event range from $125 to $1,000. There is a special Young Friends ticket priced at $65. Reservations can be made by calling 646.437.4321.
