It's going to be one groovy night, Gleeks! Get your boogie shoes on, because our favorite glee club is spreading the fever, people – no, not Bieber fever – disco fever! Nope, disco is apparently not dead, so don your best white suit and get ready for a Saturday Night Fever dance party – Glee style!

Blaine, Brittany, and Mike get the disco ball rolling with a little disco groove to fit the theme of Nationals being vintage, which pleases Mr. Schue, and leaves the rest of the glee club once again standing against the groovy sounds of disco. Mr. Schue plots to help the seemingly aimless Mercedes, Finn, and Santana while a Vocal Adrenaline member named Wade Adams comes to Kurt and Mercedes for help in becoming the 'unique' image of his dreams. Sue and Mr. Schue team up on a dance off challenge – the prize being a coveted replica of the white suit from Saturday Night Fever, the winners end up being the trio of Finn, Mercedes, and Santana.

Mercedes is not pleased when Mr. Schue explains the suit contest and it's real intentions, leaving Mercedes to ponder what her dream really is – which is aided by her performance of 'Disco Inferno', helping her reveal her dream is to be as big and great as the legendary women before her – Mariah, Whitney, and Aretha – a dream, she doubts – but Sam, whose videoing on his phone, seems to believe in. Puck confronts Finn about their plan for LA, but Finn isn't sure what his dream is, but Puck makes him promise – whatever his dream is – it should be big and worthy of him.

Sue finds out about Wade visiting Kurt and Mercedes, and plots to ruin Vocal Adrenaline with the information about Wade and his unique alter ego. Santana performs "If I Can't Have You" and explains that her dream is to be famous, and despite what the others say – fame isn't too far from the others thought process. Rachel and Finn meet in the auditorium where they begin to discuss Finn's dreams and what they plan to do about them, Rachel turns to song – singing "How Deep Is Your Love" to show Finn how much she cares and loves him.

After putting on a face and meeting with Ms. Pillsbury, Mr. Schue, and Rachel to discuss colleges, Finn trashes the pamphlets, but Mr. Schue follows and confronts Finn about his future and his dreams, only to find Finn still doesn't know what he wants. Mercedes and Kurt go to a Vocal Adrenaline performance to attempt to convince Wade not to go on with the shoes, but Jesse St. James, the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline shoos them away. Despite their initial fears, Unique takes to the stage with command along with Vocal Adrenaline leading them in a rousing version of "Boogie Shoes" – much to Jesse's shock and awe.

Finn calls Rachel to the choir room to discuss things, during which he sings "More Than a Woman" and explains that his dream is to be an actor and he has applied to the Actor's Studio in New York, cementing both of their dreams together and in the city that never sleeps. Sam reveals to Mercedes the video of her performance on YouTube, with hundreds of comments of support, but no one's support more rousing than his – ending in a kiss.

The 'winners' of the suit contest is revealed to be the trio – who lead the glee club in 'Stayin Alive'.

Did you feel the fever, people? I know – I'm sure Bieber Fever would have been cool, but who doesn't love a little nostalgia? Next week – we celebrate the recent loss of Whitney Houston while discussing the thought of goodbyes. Until next week, Gleeks, work out those boogie shoes.
