Tony Award-winner Joanna Gleason, who recently appeared as Muriel Eubanks, in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, will write and direct "Take the A Train: NYCGMC Sings Billy Strayhorn," a concert for the New York City's Gay Men's Chorus that will be presented in June at the Nokia Theatre (1515 Broadway at 44th St).

No specific date has been announced for the concert, which will celebrate the musical legacy of Strayhorn, who was openly gay and who penned standards such as "Lush Life," "Take the A Train," as well as many works written in collaboration with Duke Ellington.

Gleason won the Tony Award, for her portrayal of the Baker's Wife in the original production of Into the Woods.  She also received a Tony nomination for her work in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.  Other Broadway credits include I Love My Wife, The Real Thing, Joe Egg (Tony nod), Social Security, Nick and Nora, and more.  Film credits include The Wedding Planner, Boogie Nights, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Heartburn and Hannah and Her Sisters.

Tickets, which will range from $30-$67, will be available Oct. 2; call (212) 344-1777.
