Gilroy, McCarthy, Seldes, Etc. Set for E.S.T.'s Project 35

Ensemble Studio Theatre will present Project 35, a festival celebrating the Ensemble Studio Theatre's 35th Anniversary season.  To commemorate this milestone, E.S.T. will produce concert readings of 35 new plays in 35 days by 35 E.S.T. members and guest artists. Performances will begin  Friday, November 10th, and continue, for 35 days, until December 18th.

Featured will be plays by Romulus Linney (two Obie Awards), Jose Rivera (two Academy Award nominations – The Motorcycle Diaries, Marisol), Keith Reddin (It's the Rage), Frank D. Gilroy (Pulitzer Prize, NY Drama Critics' Circle Award – The Subject Was Roses, Obie Award – Who Will Save the Plowboy), Amy Fox (Heights, Breakfast and Bed), Arthur Giron (Edith Stein), Marti Evans Charles, Anton Dudley (Getting Home, Slag Heap), Edward Allan Baker (Rosemary with Ginger), Shirley Lauro (Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations -- Open Admissions, A Piece of My Heart), Bill Bozzone, Linda Faigao-Hall, Ann Marie Healy, J. Holtham,  Paul Mullin, and Michael Louis Wells.

Other notable artists participating include Andrew McCarthy (The Joy Luck Club, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo's Fire), Leigh Silverman (Well), Marian Seldes (Tony Award – A Delicate Balance, Deathtrap, Dinner at Eight), Laurence Luckinbill ("Star Trek V," Cocktail), and Leslie Lyles (Mona Lisa Smile).
