More casting has been announced for Party Come Here, which will run as part of the Williamstown Theatre Festival from July 25th through August 5th.

The show, to be directed by Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Dan Knechtges, will star previously-announced Tony-nominee Hunter Foster (The Producers, Urinetown, Party Come Here at NYMF), as well as Malcolm Gets (Amour, A New Brain), Kaitlin Hopkins (Bat Boy, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Party Come Here at NYMF) and Kate Reinders (Wicked, Gypsy, TastiSkank), according to David Kirshenbaum's April newsletter.

Party Come Here was previously a hit at last year's New York Musical Theatre Festival.  It features music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum and book by Daniel Goldfarb.  "A nervous groom, a statue of Jesus Christ, and a 500-year-old Jewish caveman will converge one night in Rio during a tropical storm when Party Come Here, a new musical comedy about sex and spirituality," according to NYMF press notes.

Kirshenbaum wrote the score for the off-Broadway musical Summer of '42 (book by Hunter Foster), which was recently released on a 2-CD set (starring Ryan Driscoll and Celia Keenan-Bolger) on JAY Records. Vanities – A New Musical, his adaptation of the long-running hit play (book by its original author Jack Heifner) recently won Best Musical and Best Score from the 2006 San Francisco Critics Circle Awards. Additionally, he wrote Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus (book by Myles McDonnell) and has composed for the Disney Channel series "Johnny and the Sprites."  He received grants from the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre.
