Known for his biting wit and exceptional vocals, Geoffrey Kidwell is set to take the stage this Sunday, June 6, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. With a song list that features everyone from Rufus Wainwright and Ryan Scott Oliver to Stephen Sondheim, the evening promises to be a thrilling mix of both familiar sounds and world premier material. The concert begins at 7pm.

Kidwell, under the direction of Travis Greisler, has sewn together an eclectic group of songs and stories that deal with desire, motivation and ambition. The evening features guest performances by Broadway's Jay A. Johnson (Hair), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture) and Katie Gassert. Matt Vinson musical directs.

Travis Greisler is a graduate of Northwestern University and has worked as a director on productions of Into the Woods, Company,Edges, The Wild Party (Lippa), and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has assisted at theatres such as the Paper Mill Playhouse, Chicago Shakespeare, Marriott Lincolnshire and Town Hall. Currently he is the director for Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make A Good Musical? and Rated RSO: The Music and Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver.
