Fans of Tony Award-nominated leading man Gavin Creel will now be to listen to four tracks from his forthcoming debut album Goodtimenation on his new MySpace page.
"You can see my page and listen to a taste of the music for free. All you have to do is click on the invite link below and fill out the info. You won't get any unwanted junk mail, and no one will have your private email, unless you decide to give it out," writes Creel, who encourages fans to join the popular online community that has also become a tool for many musicians.
Creel is a Tony Award-nominee for his star-making performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie; he has since appeared on Broadway in the revival of La Cage aux Folles. He originated the role of Hollis Bessemer in Stephen Sondheim/>/>'s Bounce and also appeared in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of Hair. Other credits include the national tour of Fame and the off-Broadway production's of Illyria: The Musical and Bat Boy.
Goodtimenation features pop songs that Creel co-wrote with producer Robbie Roth/>/>. A release date has not yet been announced.
