In effort to raise funds and lend support to those affected by Superstorm Sandy, Gary Clark Jr. will perform at a special Hurricane Relief Benefit show this Tue., Nov. 6th, at the Brooklyn Bowl in New York. Set time will be 9:00pm.
Tickets will go on sale at noon EST today at http://www.brooklynbowl.com/event/182961/Clark along with management and crew have organized this event not only to collect money, but are also urging attendees to donate canned food, bottled water and all manner of supply assistance: blankets, clothing, tents, kitchen and medical supplies, etc. All donations will be collected by Occupy Sandy, an all-volunteer group that will provide immediate distribution of supplies to those in need.Clark announced this week: "My second home is NYC, and I'm deeply concerned about all of the folks displaced from their homes on the east coast as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Staten Island was one of the hardest hit areas and needs a little extra love and support. We're doing a show this Tuesday, November 6th at the Brooklyn Bowl to do what we can to help the people of Staten Island recover from this disaster."Videos
