McDermot will join for several songs from his

received a Theatre World Bronze Award and a Drama Desk nomination.
"Bonnie Koloc, renowned for her warm, clear, beautiful voice and powerful stage presence, is one of the giants of
Chicago's singer-songwriter scene that included John Prine and Steve Goodman. Tonight marks her return to the Public Theater, this time at Joe's Pub with none other than Galt McDermot as her special guest. Bonnie will be accompanied by Don Stille (a former winner of the Jazz Pianist of the Year Award by the Twin Cities Jazz Society and former Finalist in the Great American Jazz Piano Competition) on piano & accordion. Bonnie will be performing material from her new cd 'Here to Sing', described by the The Midnight Special's Rich Warren as "the best thing she has ever recorded", as well as her earlier songs," state Joe's Pub notes.
McDermot received a Tony nomination for the score of
Two Gentlemen of Verona, which he penned with
John Guare and Mel Shapiro (basing it on the Shakespeare comedy). With Gerome Ragni, he wrote the groundbreaking musical
Hair, as well as
Dude. With Christopher Gore and Judith Ross, he penned
