Gabriella Antonino, Samantha Frost Lead An Evening of Music and Comedy IX

Michael Martinez is set to present An Evening of Music and Comedy IX at Don't Tell Mama on March 19, 2012. This showcase and variety show will feature singers Adam T. Rosencrance (Jesus Christ Superstar - National Tour ), Gabriella Marie Antonino, Samantha Frost, Jillian Severin, and special guest host Danielle Beckmann. Producer Michael Martinez has previously presented showcases at Birdland, Don't Tell Mama and theaters in NYC. Michael has also promoted concerts and performances in venues across the country including B.B. Kings Blues Club, Carnegie Hall, Joe's Pub, La Mama Theatre, Le Poisson Rouge, The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Showtime is 7:00 pm, door opens at 6:30pm. Admission is $15.00, plus a TWO DRINK MINIMUM. For reservations call Don't Tell Mama at 212-757-0788.

Danielle Beckmann is a native Southern Californian who moved to New York and became a founding member and Head Executive Producer of the hit Stand-Up Comedy show, Comic Diversity. She has appeared at Caroline’s on Broadway, Comix NY, Upright Citizen's Brigade, The Laurie Beechman Theatre & The Laugh Lounge. Danielle has been a guest lecturer for young performers at the American Theatre Wing and The Art Institute in Manhattan. She is a company member and board member of the non-profit theatre company Sparrowtree. In January 2012, Danielle starred in the revival of the play Pizza Man at the Bridge Theatre in NYC, and in March 2012 you can see her in the play 'American English' at 17 Frost Theatre of the Arts. Gabriella Marie Antonino has been singing and dancing since the age of three. Currently Gaby is receiving voice training from Tessa Lang, accomplished Mezzo-Soprano.She has trained at Fazio Dance Center - directed by Julie Fazio since 1997. Local fans have embraced her appearances in numerous school and church productions where she has performed a variety of Broadway, Pop, Country, and Christian Music. Her influences include Adele, Taylor Swift, and The Beatles. She recently began writing her own music and is currently attending St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights.

Samantha Frost is a Jersey Girl studying music education at Montclair State University. She began “singing in every choir possible since elementary school,” which led to her performing at Carnegie Hall with a large Multistate Choir during high school. A Freddy Award nominee for outstanding achievement in high school musical theater, Samantha performed as a solo artist in numerous vocal competitions and won an award for Outstanding Vocalist in the "Hershey Music in the Park" competition. Samantha has studied with Broadway theater and vocal coaches including with jazz vocalist Holli Ross. Adam T. Rosencrance is a New York/Boston based singer/actor. Adam has done the classics like Shakespeare and Chekhov, modern musical theatre, world premieres, drama, comedy, and has fronted numerous rock bands. Most recently Adam was seen in the National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neeley. On the production side Adam has been a music director, vocal director, and vocal coach. He has taught with the Boston Children's Theatre, studied with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The Moscow Art Theatre, and the A.R.T. Adam has the pleasure of studing voice with Debra Byrd, the vocal coach from American Idol.

Jillian Severin is originally from Rochester, NY. She received a B.A. in Theater Performance and Speech from Wagner College. Her education in performance started at the Eastman School of Music where she studied classical voice and she received a Community Education Diploma with Advanced Achievement in Voice. She was recently seen in Pizza Man at the Bridge Theatre. She can also be seen in the new independent film "A Guy Named Rick" to be released this year. Jillian has worked and performed with The Players Theatre, LABrinth Theatre Company, EgoActus, and the Laurie Beechman Theatre. She also continues her studies with ESPA.
