GREY'S ANATOMY's Kate Walsh and More to Lead IF I FORGET at Roundabout Theatre Company; Cast Complete!

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the complete cast of Roundabout Underground alumni playwright Steven Levenson's (The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin; Dear Evan Hansen) new play, If I Forget, directed by Daniel Sullivan.

The cast includes Larry Bryggman (Picnic), Maria Dizzia ("Orange is the New Black"), Tasha Lawrence (Good People), Jeremy Shamos (Noises Off), Seth Steinberg, Kate Walsh ("Grey's Anatomy"), and Gary Wilmes (Irrational Man).

If I Forget begins preview performances on February 2, 2017 and opens officially on February 22, 2017 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. This is a limited engagement Off- Broadway through April 30, 2017.

If I Forget is a sharply funny, unflinchingly honest new play about the stories we choose to believe, the compromises we can't avoid and the hurt only our nearest and dearest can inflict.

In the final months before 9/11, liberal Jewish studies professor Michael Fischer has reunited with his two sisters to celebrate their father's 75th birthday. Each deeply invested in their own version of family history, the siblings clash over everything from Michael's controversial scholarly work to the mounting pressures of caring for an ailing parent. As destructive secrets and long-held resentments bubble to the surface, the three negotiate- with biting humor and razor-sharp insight-how much of the past they're willing to sacrifice for a chance at a new beginning. If I Forget tells a powerful tale of a family and a culture at odds with itself.

Roundabout welcomes back playwright, Steven Levenson, on the heels of his success with Dear Evan Hansen. Following his acclaimed production of The Language of Trees in 2008 at Roundabout Underground, Roundabout commissioned Steven to write The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin that premiered at the Laura Pels Theatre in 2013. Roundabout welcomes Daniel Sullivan back to the Laura Pels, where he last helmed the theater's inaugural, and award winning, production of Intimate Apparel. Jeremy Shamos returns following his critically acclaimed performances in last season's revival of Noises Off and 2013's Dinner with Friends. Larry Bryggman also returns following his performances in Picnic, Twelve Angry Men and Harvey at Roundabout.

The creative team includes Derek McLane (Set design), Jess Goldstein (Costume Design) and Kenneth Posner (Lighting Design).

If I Forget is a recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Roundabout's work with new and emerging playwrights and directors, as well as development of new work, is made possible by Katheryn Patterson and Tom Kempner.

Larry Bryggman (Lou Fischer). For the past fifty years Larry has worked in New York on Broadway (Tony nominations for Picnic, Proo), Off-Broadway (Obies for Sustained Excellence and David Mamet's Romance), TV (two Daytime Emmys for Best Actor As The World Turns, Law and Order, The Good Wife, Person of Interest), and Film (Die Hard with a Vengeance, Spy Game, And Justice for All, Looking For Richard). Larry has worked at Regional Theatres in Boston, Washington DC, Hartford, New Haven and Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Atlantic Theater Company.

Maria Dizzia (Sharon Fischer). New York credits include: Belleville (2013 Drama Desk Nomination), Uncle Vanya, Cradle and All, In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play), (2010 Tony Award nomination); The Hallway Trilogy, and more. Maria portrayed Polly on two seasons of Netflix's "Orange is the New Black." Other film and television credits include: "While We're Young," "Martha Marcy May Marlene," "Margin Call," "Rachel Getting Married," "Horace and Pete," "Royal Pains," "The Newsroom," "The Good Wife," "Master of None," "Louie," "Fringe," and "Law & Order." Upcoming she will be seen in New Line's film Going in Style, the independent film The Last Poker Game, and Netflix's "13 Reasons Why." Maria received her MFA from the University of California, San Diego.

Jeremy Shamos (Michael Fischer) is an Obie Award winning actor, playing "Michael" in the upcoming production of If I Forget at the Laura Pels Theatre, his 20th Off Broadway production. In 2012, he received a Tony nomination for his starring role in the Broadway production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play Clybourne Park and has appeared on Broadway with Al Pacino in Glengarry Glen Ross at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, with Judith Light in Richard Greenberg's Tony nominated Assembled Parties, Reckless, The Rivals, Elling and most recently in Noises Off. Off-Broadway he has been in Dinner With Friends for which he won the 2014 Lucille Lortel Award and most recently appeared in The Qualms at Playwrights Horizons. For film he has had roles in Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight, and Alejandro González Iñárritu's Oscar Winning film Birdman. On TV, he has recently had guest appearances on "The Affair," "The Night Of," "Bull", "The Blacklist," and "Braindead" as well as appearing on "Chicago PD" and Phillip Seymour Hoffman's pilot for Showtime "Happyish," with recurring roles on the last season of "Nurse Jackie" and AMC's first season of "Better Call Saul."

Seth Steinberg (Joey Oren) is a high school junior hailing from the north suburbs of Chicago. Seth made his professional debut in 2015 at Theater Wit in Chicago, playing Nathan in Kokandy Production's The Full Monty, which received five Jeff nominations including Best Musical. Favorite roles with the Actors Training Center in Wilmette, Illinois, include Fester in The Addams Family, MacMillan in Big: The Musical, Georg in Spring Awakening, Cooper in Really, Really, Warner in Legally Blonde, The Musical, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Charlie Brown in It's Christmas Charlie Brown, Eddie in 13 the Musical, and Billy in Assassins. Credits with the Another Door Theatre Project include Matt in Bare and Kurt in Heathers the Musical. Seth also has performed at the Second City's de Maat Theater, the Annoyance Theatre, the Chicago Sketch Fest at Stage 773, and the Wilmette Theatre as a member of the Actor's Training Center's sketch comedy troupe, No Explanation! He performed in his high school student-written and directed comedy review YAMO 2016: Goodnight YAMO and is a cartoonist for his high school newspaper. Seth is represented by Innovative Artists NY and by Carole Dibo Talent Management.

Kate Walsh (Holly Fischer) is one of TV's most beloved leading ladies due to her starring role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on the hit ABC drama "Private Practice," a spin-off of "Grey's Anatomy." The enormous success of her character on GREY'S, where she made her first appearance in 2005, led ABC and writer / creator Shonda Rhimes to create a spin-off based solely on Walsh's character. "Private Practice" premiered in September of 2007 as the highest-rated new series of the season, and the #1 show on Wednesday evenings. The show continued its success through all six seasons, bowing in January 2013. During her two seasons on "Grey's Anatomy," the show received a SAG award for "Best Ensemble" in 2007, and received ensemble nominations from both the Screen Actors Guild and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in 2006 and 2008, respectively. GREY'S won the Golden Globe for "Best Television Series Drama" in 2007 and was nominated again the following year. The show also received Emmy nominations for "Outstanding Drama Series" in 2006 as well as in 2007 and received three consecutive NAACP Image Awards for "Outstanding Drama Series" in 2006-2008. Up next, Walsh will be seen in three highly-anticipated new projects. In March 2017, Walsh will co-star in Netflix's Tom McCarthy-directed, 13-episode drama series, "13 Reasons Why," based on the bestselling YA book by Jay Asher. The series follows a boy named Clay through an emotional night after he receives a shoe box of cassette tapes from his late classmate and crush Hannah, following her recent suicide. Walsh plays Hannah's mom, who is central to the plot. Then, Walsh co-stars opposite Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina Hall in Girl Trip, a comedy film about four friends who roadtrip to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival. The film is set to release on July 21, 2017. She recently wrapped Peter Landesman's star-studded dramatic film, Felt, starring Liam Neeson as FBI agent, Mark Felt, who became the anonymous source "Deep Throat" for reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein and helped them in the investigation which led to the Watergate scandal. Also on the horizon, Walsh will star in Netflix's #ReallyHigh, a film about a nerdy girl who must learn how to handle the pitfalls of high school when a social media celebrity classmate becomes her enemy. Walsh will play a quirky doctor at an animal shelter who is single and always hunting for a man. The series is set to premiere in July 2017. Additionally, she will star in and produce her mobile talk show Get In My Van alongside Arden Myrin, which has been picked up by POP TV. In 2014, Walsh co-starred in FX's Emmy and Golden Globe-winning TV adaptation of "Fargo," alongside Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman. That same year saw the premiere of NBC's "Bad Judge," a half hour comedy that Walsh starred in and executive produced. The show centered on Walsh's character, one of LA's toughest and most respected criminal court judges, with a reputation for unorthodox behavior in the courtroom and in her private life. In 2013, Walsh was seen in Neil LaBute's Full Circle for DirecTV. Past film credits include Just Before I Go, directed by Courtney Cox; Staten Island Summer, produced by Lorne Michaels; Stephen Chbosky's The Perks Of Being A Wallflower opposite Paul Rudd, Emma Watson and Logan Lerman; Legion opposite Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid; Angels Crest opposite Mira Sorvino; Kicking And Screaming opposite Will Ferrell; Under The Tuscan Sun opposite Diane Lane; Brett Ratner's After The Sunset; and Brett Ratner's The Family Man opposite Nicholas Cage. In November of 2010, Walsh launched her own self- financed beauty company, Boyfriend. In a partnered launch with the Home Shopping Network (HSN), Boyfriend sold out in a record breaking 30 minutes. In February 2011, Boyfriend was picked up by Sephora stores nationwide as the exclusive retail partner, where it climbed the ranks to become a Top 10 seller. Her second fragrance, Billionaire, launched on HSN and in Sephora February 2012. In addition to her own line, Walsh has also been the face of prestigious brands including Garnier and Cadillac. Walsh began her acting career in Chicago where she studied at the renowned Piven Theatre Workshop. She went on to star in multiple theatre productions at the Shakespeare Repertory, including the critically-acclaimed Born Guilty, Moon Under Miami, and Troilus And Cressida. After moving to New York and appearing on various TV shows directly following, including series regular roles on "The Mike O'malley Show" (ABC); "Mind Of A Married Man" (HBO); and "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC), she returned to her theatre roots in 2010 to appear in an off-Broadway production of "Dusk Rings A Bell" alongside Paul Sparks and directed by Sam Gold. Walsh currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Gary Wilmes (Howard Kilberg) appeared on Broadway in Chinglish and in the Sydney Theater Company production as well as the US National Tour of August: Osage County. His off-Broadway credits include Red Light Winter for which he received an Obie Award, Straight White Men at The Public Theater and Isolde at Theatre for a New Audience. He performed in the Elevator Repair Service's Gatz at The Public Theater and on the West End. His television credits include "Louie," "Homeland," "Elementary" and "John Benjamin Has A Van." Film credits include "The Wizard of Lies," "Irrational Man," "Salt" and "A Mighty Heart."

Daniel Sullivan (Director). Daniel Sullivan most recently directed Sylvia, The Country House, The Snow Geese, and Glengarry Glen Ross on Broadway. For The Public Theater, Sullivan directed Cymbeline, King Lear, Comedy of Errors, As You Like It, All's Well That Ends Well, The Merchant of Venice, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Stuff Happens and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Among his Broadway credits are Orphans, The Columnist, Good People, Time Stands Still, Accent on Youth, The Homecoming, Prelude to a Kiss, Rabbit Hole, After the Night and the Music, Julius Caesar, Brooklyn Boy, Sight Unseen, I'm Not Rappaport, Morning's at Seven, Proof, the 2000 production of A Moon for the Misbegotten, Ah, Wilderness!, The Sisters Rosensweig, Conversations with my Father, and The Heidi Chronicles.
