Tune in to see Jeff Daniels, star of Broadway's hottest comedy, the Tony Award-winning Best Play, GOD OF CARNAGE, on "The Martha Stewart Show" this Thursday, April 1. "The Martha Stewart Show" airs in the New York area on WNBC, Channel 4 at 11:00am. Check local listings for times outside the New York area. Jeff Daniels stars with Dylan Baker, Lucy Liu and Janet McTeer in GOD OF CARNAGE at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street). After receiving rave reviews in London, GOD OF CARNAGE opened on Broadway March 22, 2009 to unanimous praise.Jeff Daniels originated the role of ‘Alan' in the original Broadway production of GOD OF CARNAGE, for which he received a Tony nomination. In a rare casting twist, he returns to the show to play the role of ‘Michael.'Janet McTeer created the role of ‘Veronica' in the London premiere of the play. Ms. McTeer is appearing with the support of Actors' Equity Association. The producers gratefully acknowledge Actors' Equity Association for its assistance of this production.The Yasmina Reza comedy won the Tony Award for Best Play and Best Direction of a Play (Matthew Warchus).
