A new project, named "Japan Calls," involves various entertainers recording a 15-second personalized voice message to the highest bidder in an auction that will start on Monday, March 28th, with all proceeds going directly to Japan.

Several theater performers and entertainers are participating, including Adam Kantor, Jenna Ushkowitz, Matt Cavenaugh, Michael Urie, Craig Bierko, Jake Silbermann, Jeremy Piven, Kelli Barrett, Kristen Bell, Mark Ruffalo, Marnie Schulenburg, Nia Vardalos, Van Hansis and Randy Harrison.
Other celebrities lending their voices to the auction include Thomas Gibson (Criminal Minds, Dharma & Greg, I'll Believe You, In From the Night), Peter Paige (Queer as Folk, American Dad (Voice), Rick & Steve the Happiest Gay Couple in All the World, Related), and Kristin Bauer (True Blood,The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Private Practice, House Rules)
