Kevin McHale, who plays "Artie" on GLEE, has broken his silence on the loss of co-star Cory Monteith.

Along with a photo (at left) of McHale and Monteith, McHale posted on Instagram:

"So thankful that I and so many of you got to experience Cory's overwhelming kindness, humor and talent. There will not be a day that goes by that I won't miss him. Thank you all for your incredible support and patience."

Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13th, the result of an accidental drug overdose. In recent weeks, his fellow Glee stars, including Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz and Chris Colfer, have shared their grief through instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Others, including Matthew Morrison and Chord Overstreet, have expressed their sadness by dedicating musical performances to their fallen friend.

McHale will be returning for the show's upcoming fifth season, now set to premiere on September 26th.
