According to EW.com, GLEE's Chris Colfer will write two books for Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. The first, titled THE LAND OF STORIES, is described as 'an adventure novel that draws elements from the very, very in-vogue world of classic fairy tales.' The book will be released in summer 2012, and the second (still untitled) will be released soon after.

Colfer commented on the project, "When I was ten years old, I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to write this book, I would jump at the chance. This book has been at the core of my imagination for a long time and I'm excited and nervous to share it."
