GLEE's Alex Newell to Lead Broadway Winter Workshop, 2/19

Broadway Buzz, LLC and Studio 7Arts is proud to present their first-annual Broadway Winter Workshop on Friday February 19, 2016 at Ripley Grier Studios for aspiring performers. Amongst faculty, guest teaching artists include Alex Newell (Fox's GLEE), Adam Cates (Assoc. Choreographer, A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder), Angel May Reed (Rock of Ages), Bryan Campione (Broadway_Buzz), Osh Ghanimah (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Founder: Broadway For All) and more to be announced.

Participants will work with the Workshop team to experience, first-hand, what it takes to become a performer on Broadway. With two separate classes (one advanced beginner/intermediate, one advanced) and working with the best on and around Broadway, this workshop will service its' participants with a fully-dedicated introduction to and study in all forms of performing and theater arts geared to the Broadway industry. Combining dance study with acting workshops, vocal study, social media do's and don'ts, as well as feedback and talkback from leading Broadway talent and industry professionals, the goal is to deepen the education of students regarding theater arts and help those interested in becoming a theater professional as well as all other disciplines within the career.


The Workshop is $150 per participant and runs from 12PM to 4:30PM, with a final showcase at 5PM for friends and family. Additional Broadway performers will be on-hand to give feedback and share in the experience.
