Gleeks, some of our favorite things make a return in this week's episode: Puck! Mash-ups! Girls vs. Boys challenges! After a grueling practice, Finn and Sam exchange stories about their girlfriends, finding they are both dating two girls who are not willing to give them exactly what they want. Finn enlightens Sam to his secret of how to keep himself from urging for more, giving Sam the idea to use Coach Bieste as a cooler of sorts when he's making out with Quinn.

Mr. Schuester announces to the Glee Clubbers the list of glee clubs they will be competing against at Sectionals: The Dalton Academy Warblers, an all-boys glee club and the Hipsters, a glee club of senior citizens receiving theirs GEDs.  Mr. Schuester then announces that the 2nd annual Boys vs. Girls mash-up competition, once again forcing Kurt to work with the boys instead of the girls.

Puck, fresh from juvie, decides to make Artie his community service, dedicating himself to helping the boy in the wheelchair by giving him all the tips and tricks of his trade. Meanwhile, Sam uses his new technique of using Coach Bieste as a cool-down method, confusing and pissing off Quinn, who turns to Sue for help.

Kurt, in the meanwhile, has been really getting picked on hard by Kraofsky, a football player.  When Will witnesses one of the altercations, he brings Kurt into his office, where Kurt explains to Mr. Schuester that he feels alone and like a target because he's the only out and proud student at the school.

After talking with Kurt, Mr. Schuester decides to change up the mash-up competition by making the boys do songs done by girls, and vice versa for the girls. Kurt, suddenly excited by the change up in the assignment, only to have the boys seem less than thrilled, Puck going so far as to suggest Kurt go spy on the other Glee Clubs, most specifically the Warblers, whom he'd fit in perfectly with.

As part of his 'training' of sorts, Puck takes Artie to The Commons area of McKinley, breaking out his guitar and pan-handling while singing "One Love" by Bob Marley. After pan-handling about three hundred dollars out of the students of McKinley, Artie informs Puck that he kind of wants Brittany back, leading Puck to plot a double date with Santana and Brittany.

Following Puck's 'suggestion', Kurt heads over to Dalton Academy, where he meets a boy named Blaine. Blaine leads Kurt (by hand) to the senior commons, where the Warblers are giving an impromptu performance. Once there, Kurt watches as Blaine turns out to be the male lead of the Warblers, leading them in an A Capella version of 'Teenage Dream'.  Kurt, drawn in by Blaine, finds that at Dalton, the Warblers are almost like rock-stars, which is a complete opposite of how things are viewed at McKinley.

The usage of Coach Bieste as a cool-down for getting too hot couples spreads to Mike and Tina, when Tina utters her name in the middle of a make-out session. Quinn, following Sue's orders to make a big deal out of Sam calling out Coach Bieste's name, gets into a fight with Sam in the hallway, ending with Coach Bieste being chewed out by Quinn and Mike.

Will drags out the information about Coach Bieste from Mike and Sam, after witnessing the hallway altercation, finding all of it to be very opposite of what Glee Club is truly all about. Meanwhile, At Dalton, Kurt comes to find Dalton does not take kindly to bullying and has a much larger out and proud student population, including Blaine.  Soon, Blaine and Kurt begin to bond as Blaine begins to break down all of Kurt's problems, revealing things about himself and his past to aid the boy in his plight at McKinley.

Puck and Artie cement plans with Brittany and Santana, while Will talks about what has been going on with Coach Bieste, who takes so offensively to the idea of the students using her as their weird cool-down method. At Breadstixs, Puck tells tales of his days in juvie to a captive audience of Brittany, Santana, and Artie. However, when the idea of dine-and-dash comes to play, Artie does the right thing by paying, much to Puck's dismay, leaving Artie while he takes Brittany and Santana to his place.

The girls take to the choir room floor with a mash-up of "Start Me Up" and "Living on a Prayer" decked out in 80's glam style from head to toe. After the girl's performance, Becky enters with a note for Will to meet Sue in the auditorium, where Sue shows off her two confetti canons, bought with her now restored budget since Coach Bieste has quit. Taking Blaine's words to heart, Kurt confronts Kraofsky for his all the shoving and attacks, ending with Kraoskfy kissing Kurt and running off in anger.

Will informs the Glee Clubbers that Coach Bieste has quit, making the Glee Clubbers feel terrible and urging them to find a way to get her to stay.  Puck's lies about Juvie slowly come to a boil when his probation officer comes to McKinley to check on Puck's 'community service'.  Kurt and Blaine confront Kraofsky about the kiss, trying to urge the jock to accept the fact that he's not alone, but the plan doesn't quite go so well, leading to Kurt defending Blaine from Kraofsky. Kurt informs Blaine that the kiss with Kraofksy was his first, but it was one that meant nothing.

Will confronts Coach Bieste as she's packing to leave, only to find she also has never been kissed. Will informs Coach Bieste that she's a wonderful person: beautiful inside and out, kissing her and giving her the first kiss she hadn't had.  Artie reaches out to Puck, who reveals that things weren't as he claimed at juvie, showing a much more vulnerable Puck.  Artie decides to make Puck his 'community service' by helping with school work in repayment for his help with Brittany and being cool.

At episode's end, the boys perform a mash-up of "Free Your Mind" and "Stop In The Name of Love" for Coach Bieste and offer up their apologies.

Mash-up your music and meet back here next week, Gleeks.
