We're going to the chapel, and someone's getting married, Gleeks! After dating for quite some time, Burt and Carole announce to Kurt and Finn, they are now engaged, leaving Kurt overjoyed and Finn unsure how to feel. After her sleazy anchorman ex-boyfriend proposes to his co-anchor, Sue decides to turn to internet dating to find someone, before realizing: She's perfect for... herself! So, Sue is marrying herself.  In the midst of planning for the wedding, Kurt has yet another terrifying run in with Kraofsky that leaves him shaken, so much so that Mr. Schuester and Principal Slyvester attempt to step in.

Upon hearing of her daughter's upcoming nuptials, Doris Slyvester (guest star Carol Burnett) arrives in town, much to Sue's shock and slight annoyance.  The ladies of New Directions band together to get their football player boyfriends to attempt to defend Kurt from Kraofsky, which ends with the boys of New Directions (sans Finn) attacking Kraofsky.

Doris takes on the challenge of planning Sue's wedding, including deciding to sing Sue's favorite song: Ohio (from Wonderful Town). During a dance lesson for Finn and Burt, Kraofksy passes by the choir room, causing things to come to a boil when Burt attacks Kraofsky. After the hallway altercation, Principal Sue calls Kurt, Burt, Kraofsky, and Kraofsky's father into her office, which ends with Kraofsky being expelled from McKinley.

On the day of Burt and Carole's wedding, Santana confronts Finn about how they had sex last year, informing Finn that if the world were to know, he'd be cooler. However, Finn doesn't want to break Rachel's heart, so he refuses to allow the information to go elsewhere, angering Santana. The Glee Clubbers take to the aisles in song to celebrate Burt and Carole's wedding, singing "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.

At the altar, Carole and Burt embrace the two people who brought them together: Kurt and Finn. At the dinner post-wedding dinner, Finn takes to the floor with Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" to impress upon Kurt they are now family and he will not allow anything to happen to him.  At the other wedding, Doris is not happy with the way Sue has handled her bizarre wedding, which ends with Sue throwing her mother out.

Just when it seemed all was going well, Sue calls Carole, Burt, and Kurt into her office to inform them that the school board has appealed and Kraofsky has been reinstated as a student at McKinley. After the meeting, Kurt drops a bombshell at rehearsal: He's transferring to Dalton Academy immediately, thanks to Burt and Carole using their honeymoon money to keep him safe from Kraofsky. The Glee Clubbers are not pleased, most upset being Finn and Mercedes. With that, Kurt bids New Directions goodbye, to become their competition.

Sectionals are next week, Gleeks. Get your costumes and set-lists ready! It's a battle between the New Directions, the Hipsters, and a now Kurt featuring Dalton Academy Warblers!  Until then, Happy Thanksgiving, Gleeks!
