The final episode of the second season of FOX's hit series GLEE will air on Tuesday, May 24 and new details about the episode have been revealed due to an extensive look at the show in The Hollywood Reporter.
Amongst the details about the $6 million dollar episode is word that the cast filmed in the Gershwin Theatre, home to Broadway's WICKED. And, the song Chris and Lea are singing in the Gershwin? "For Good" from WICKED! Lea explains: "We feel like we're Elphaba and Glinda. Chris likes to be called Guylinda, though"
The episode will also contain a mashup of "New York, New York" and "I Love New York" along with a special guest appearance by Patti LuPone. About LuPone's appearance, Ryan Murphy revealed that "I wouldn't take no for an answer. Obviously, we talk about her very reverentially, and she agreed to do it because she loves the arts and the show. Patti LuPone is New York to me" and that Patti actually improvised some of her own lines that may or may not make it into the final cut.
