Yesterday it was Chris Colfer, today it's Lea Michele turn as the star's popular Twitter account is the second Glee hacking this week.
Less than 24 hours after a fake tweet was sent out on Chris Colfer's account, Lea Michele's Twitter account proclaimed this morning that 'Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy'
BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed with the star's rep that like yesterday's Colfer report -- her account has been hacked. So far, there's no word on who, or why is targeting Glee stars on Twitter.
Following a flurry of false reports that Glee star Chris Colfer was 'let go' from the FOX musical dramedy, the actor's manager told THR that the star's verified Twitter account has been hacked and confirms that the actor will return for the final season of the show and in fact, has a signed contract for season six. The actor's publicist tells THR that Colfer was on a mid-Atlantic flight without WiFi access and not immediately available to correct his Twitter account.
In addition, Studio 20th Century FOX Television has just issued a statement confirming that Colfer will be back for the final season. "We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season."
The original report said that Colfer revealed on Twitter: "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of Glee. Explanations will come shortly."
FOX recently announced that Glee will not return to the line up until 2015, and will have a shortened season. Glee is a musical comedy about a group of ambitious and talented kids who escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a Glee club, where they find strength, acceptance and, ultimately, their voice. Last year's graduates and aspiring singers, RACHEL BERRY (Lea Michelle) and KURT HUMMEL (Chris Colfer), packed their bags for New York and enrolled at a prestigious performing arts school, NYADA, where they made new friends and learned the cruel realities of college. These naïve freshmen moved into a Brooklyn loft, signed up for internships, auditioned for Broadway shows and gained a roommate when SANTAna Lopez (Naya Rivera) moved to the Big Apple.Videos
