GLEE Gives Back: Donates 'Last Christmas' Proceeds to GRAMMY Foundation

The cast of Fox's critically acclaimed new comedy Glee are ushering in the season with their own unique take on Wham's classic holiday heartbreaker "Last Christmas," available exclusively on iTunes today.

In keeping with the spirit of the holidays, a portion of the proceeds from downloads of "Last Christmas" will be donated to GRAMMY Foundation to support its GRAMMY In The Schools education programs, which include GRAMMY Camp, GRAMMY Career Day, GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles, GRAMMY Signature Schools and GRAMMY SoundChecks(SM). Through these initiatives, the GRAMMY Foundation offers young people the opportunity to explore careers in the music industry and it recognizes excellence in music education. Glee's music has consistently garnered raves from fans and critics alike for its unique and invigorating style. The debut soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Volume 1 shot to #4 on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart when it was released on November 3rd. A second soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Volume 2, will be released on December 8th (track listings for both volumes below). Fan reactions to the music from Glee have been immediate from the show's debut, the cast's version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" hit to #1 on iTunes Top Songs chart when it was released in May.
