GLEE star Jane Lynch will host the 2011 Emmy Awards on September 18. She'll be only the third female to host the show by herself in the history of the awards show- the others being Angela Lansbury and Ellen Degeneres. Lynch just told the Hollywood Reporter that she's trying to work the rest of the GLEE Cast into the ceremony. Lynch told THR: "I've pitched a couple of ideas for the GLEE Cast. I bet there will be an appearance."
"My nerves will mostly be focused toward doing the show. It's almost a relief not to have to think about having been nominated." She continues, "Sue Sylvester would make the show explosive ... but it might be kind of warlike, angry and violence. A show with Jane Lynch would be a lot nicer and easier to digest."To read the full article, click here.
Lynch currently plays the role of Sue Sylvester in the Fox musical-comedy series Glee for which she has won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
