GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL Heads to Singapore 9/20

Entertainment Event Productions today announced that GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL will make its Asian premiere beginning September 20th at DBS Arts Centre in Singapore. The original New York cast (Sonya Carter, Priscilla Fernandez, Tina Jensen) will reprise their roles. Performances will continue there through October 3rd. MediaCorp VizPro International is the presenter in Singapore.

From the author and producer of GIRLS NIGHT: The Musical comes its sister show GIRL TALK: A Girls Night Musical. Girl Talk focuses on the final live studio broadcast of the hit radio show GIRL TALK on WPMS after a wild ten year run. The two top radio hosts and their most popular regular guest are going out in style! The ladies love to dish about life, love, sex, marriage, relationships, friendships, motherhood, careers, food, alcohol, and yes, men in any capacity. When it's time for music, these talented ladies bust out to hits by diverse artists such as The Pointer Sisters, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin, and many more! Get ready to join these ladies and send them out in style, dishing, dancing, singing, and laughing your way from start to finish!

British playwright, author and television producer, Louise Roche has written and produced six other plays including Girls Night (UK Tours 2003, ‘04,'06), Bobby and Johnny (UK Tour 2005), Girls Behind (UK Tour 2005), Checkout Girls (Milton Keynes 2005), Lucky Balls(Milton Keynes 2002), and Milton Keynes The Musical (2002). Her novel, Glutton for Punishment is published in paperback, and her television writing includes "Where the Heart Is," and "Doctors."

GIRL TALK: THE MUSICAL is co-written by Tim Flaherty and Sonya Carter, who also directs. Sonya has also directed several touring companies of Girls Night: The Musical and directed the world premiere of Girl Talk: The Musical at the DuPont Theater in Wilmington, DE, as well as originated the role of co-host Janice. Sonya directed and performed that role in the acclaimed Off-Broadway premiere as well.
