Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS) will present a free concert, "SIREN Baroque - Woman All-Stars of the Baroque Era", today, February 14, 2013 at 1:15pm at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street), New York, NY.

SIREN Baroque - Brett Umlauf, soprano; Kelly Savage, harpsichord; Brittany Palmer, soprano; Antonia Nelso, violin; Anneke Shaul-Yoder, cello; Liv Heym, violin.

SIREN Baroque's program highlights both known and unknown women composers from the late Renaissance to the High Baroque. The diverse and wide range of styles illustrates how women contributed to the formation of the baroque era from both inside convent walls and in kings' courts.

Midtown Concerts offers workers in midtown as well as the general public the opportunity to enjoy high-quality performances of music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods in a convenient, comfortable, acoustically superb venue. Tickets are not necessary; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free-will donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
