In Tim Realbuto: BECAUSE I CAN, expect an evening of this up and coming New York star singing the songs he loves to sing. Sondheim, Lady Gaga, and everything in between. And he will sing it all because it's his concert and... well, because he can.
The show will feature Broadway guest stars singing duets with Tim that include the previously announced Laurissa Romain, aka "Lala" (South Pacific on Broadway and Chris Rock's film "Top Five"), Joshua Morgan, (Broadway's Les Miserables), and Mavis Simpson-Ernst (Broadway's Evita and "Broad City" on Comedy Central). The evening will also feature Ally Barrale ("Tinderella"), Grace Field (After We're Gone), Leigh Martha Klinger (Rebecca the musical), Alexis LaBarba (The Sultan's Dilemma), Erin Leddy (Ghostlight), Katie Mack (No Filter: A Love Story), and Lieselotte Nickmans (9 to 5).
The ensemble will feature Nicole Corris, Jason Michael Dick, Mary Hannah Dober, Jay Wilkinson, Cameron Draper, Theresa Egloff, Teresa Hui, Kate McGarrigle, Tyler Mell, Casey Miko, Kristina Plate, Kathryn Porterfield, Matthew Rickmeier, Kevin Riddagh, and Allison St. Rock. Musical direction will be provided by Julianne B. Merrill (Allegro).
A portion of the evening's proceeds will go directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. Tickets, starting at $24, with $25 food/drink min., are available by visiting metropolitanroom.com/event.cfm?id=252059&cart or www.metropolitanroom.com.
