Full Cast Announced for Robert Cuccioli-Led 'MAGICAL THINKING' Reading in NYC

Tony-nominated actor Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde; Rothschild & Sons; Javert in Les Mis; upcoming Paint Your Wagon) will lead the cast of MAGICAL THINKING: My Favorite Indigents & Severe Clear by playwright/designer Carrie Robbins, and directed by Paul Dobie (Associate/Assistant Director for B'way's Once, Cabaret, Wicked, Martin Short... Fame Becomes Me, Glengarry Glen Ross).

The reading will take place on Monday, April 18, at 7pm at the Bernie Wohl Center. A small group of seats is still available.

The full cast includes Erika Rolfsfrud (B'way: Coast of Utopia, Rabbit Hole; TV: House of Cards), Tom Flynn (Bway: Wicked), Thomas Leverton (TheatreWorks' Red, ATA's Romeo/Juliet), Tony Naumovski (Bacchae, LaMaMa; Orange is the New Black), John Neiderer (Theatre of the New City's Winter of April), Kristie Dale Sanders (Bway: Cabaret, Evita, Phantom, Urinetown), Mimi Turque (Bway Original: Man of La Mancha, 3 Penny, Fiddler).

Robbins's plays SAWBONES & THE DIAMOND EATER (HERE Arts Center), directed by Tazewell Thompson, received six nominations from the NY Innovative Theatre Awards, the most nominations received by any show in 2014. For further info on her work, see www.daysofthegiants.com.

As a designer, Robbins has spent years designing costumes on broadway and off, here and abroad. She is known for the strength and skill of her character drawing which may have presaged her interest in character writing. MAGICAL THINKING is presented by 29th Street Playwrights Collective "New Works Series/2016" in association with Goddard Riverside/Bernie Wohl Arts Center, located at 647 Columbus Avenue at 91st St. at 7:00 PM.
