Free Tickets On Offer To Broadway Bound Kids Showcase

Broadway Bound Kids and the Broadway Bound Players are proud to announce their fall Showcase, The Greatest Show! This family friendly musical revue is inspired by the hit movie, The Greatest Showman, and revolves around the themes of acceptance and celebrating differences.

Broadway Bound Players is a free, donation-based BBK program for kids in NYC, many of whom would not otherwise have access to the performing arts. 4th-8th graders in this program receive acting, vocal, and dance training from professional teaching artists. They rehearse and perform a musical revue in the fall, and mount a full-scale musical complete with costumes, sets, and props in the spring! The mission of the program is to provide a safe and inclusive community where all students will feel fully accepted just as they are so that they can discover all they can be in the world!

The performance will also include excerpts from Carner and Gregor's musical, Island Song, performed by students in Broadway Bound Kid's tuition assisted high school program, Broadway Bound Workshop.

Admission is free, but we encourage donations of any amount to help keep this program thriving.

The performance will take place on December 8th at 2pm in the auditorium at P.S. 158, The Bayard Taylor School located at 1458 York Ave, New York, NY 10075.

Since 2004 Broadway Bound Kids has been providing performing arts education opportunities to kids throughout NYC. Broadway Bound Kids offers school based performing arts residencies, community based workshops and summer programs, master classes with Broadway professionals, full scale musical productions, and trips to see Broadway shows. The goal is to ensure that all kids have access to the performing arts regardless of their financial resources.
